Benefits
We are interested in your health and getting you the care you require. Here at Columbia United Providers (CUP), we want to work with you to meet your health care needs and those of your family. We manage the Healthy Options and Basic Health programs within Clark County in Southwest Washington. The program you are enrolled in will determine what benefits you are eligible for.
Healthy Options/CHIP: This is a medical program that provides no-cost health care services for people on Medicaid or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Some services are covered by CUP, but may be limited; some remain the responsibility of the State Fee-For-Service program; and some services are not covered by either program. The Healthy Options links below provide more specific information regarding member coverage.
Basic Health: This is a state-sponsored health plan for Washington residents with premiums based on income. Basic Health members do have financial responsibility in addition to their monthly premium. Copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance apply for certain services. The link below will provide additional clarification related to member benefits and eligibility.
If you have questions regarding benefits for Healthy Options/CHIP or Basic Health, contact CUP’s Member Services Department at 360‐891‐1520 or toll free at 800‐315‐7862 Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
