Website Services for Providers
CUP offers services through our website for all providers. Contracted providers are able to look up member eligibility, claims, referrals, billing guidelines, create reports, and access a host of other resources and reference materials.

Helping Members With Their Enrollment ~
Washington HealthPlanFinder is the online marketplace for individuals, families and small businesses in Washington. This is where you can compare plans, enroll in health insurance coverage, and gain access to tax credits, reduced cost-sharing, and public programs such as Medicaid. Those who qualify for, or are renewing, Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) coverage may enroll year-round.
All applicants for:
Family Medical - Pregnancy Medical - Children’s Medical - Adult Medical
Should apply for coverage through Washington Healthplanfinder (HPF) at www.wahealthplanfinder.org. Through this website, callers can also renew coverage and report change of circumstances in real time for these health care coverage programs. Callers who need further assistance for these programs may call the Washington Healthplanfinder Customer Support Center at 1-855-923-4633.
Medical Eligibility Determination Services
Eligibility for the programs above is determined using new Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) Methodology. If a caller has questions about MAGI-based Medicaid eligibility requirements or wants to appeal a MAGI-based eligibility determination, he or she should contact the Health Care Authority’s Medical Eligibility Determination Services (MEDS) unit by phone at 1-855-623-9357 or by email at AskMAGI@hca.wa.gov.
Department of Social and Health Services
DSHS workers will provide personal assistance only to applicants for Classic Medicaid (Long-term Care or Aged, Blind, Disabled coverage). Callers may apply or renew coverage for the Classic Medicaid programs at www.washingtonconnection.org. Questions may be directed to the Community Services Division Customer Services Center at 1-877-501-2233.
Application Options – Healthplanfinder
1) ONLINE: Apply online 24 hours/day at the new WA Healthplanfinder at www.wahealthplanfinder.org to receive an immediate decision or notification advising of next steps necessary. This is the recommended method to receive a real-time eligibility determination.
2) PHONE: Apply via phone by contacting the WA Healthplanfinder Customer Support Center at 1-855-923-4633 (M-F / 7:30am-8pm). There may be very high call volumes and extended wait times.
3) IN-PERSON ASSISTER: Locate an in-person assister in your county to complete an application with someone in-person to assist you by calling the WA Healthplanfinder Customer Support Center at 1-855-923-4633 (M-F / 7:30am-8pm) or visiting www.wahealthplanfinder.org and select “Customer Support” to “Find a Navigator” in your area.
4) PAPER APPLICATION: Download and print a paper application to complete and mail to the Health Benefit Exchange from the HCA Forms (mailing address listed on cover page) Website: http://www.hca.wa.gov/medicaid/forms/Pages/index.aspx
